Vinci Galleries (Vinci Digital Ventures). Email info@vincigalleries.com.
11. Businesses we contact
Vinci Galleries gives galleries, dealers and auction houses websites with online catalogues and the software to run an art or antiques business. It is built and operated by Vinci Digital Ventures LLC (Wyoming, USA), 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We sometimes write to an art or antiques business we think would find it useful. This section explains what we use, where it came from and how to stop it. Contact: info@vincigalleries.com.
What we use, and where it comes from
- Your business's name, town, website and the kind of business it is — from your website or a public trade directory, association member list, town guide or antiques-centre dealer list. We record which page we found you on.
- A business e-mail address published on your website, and the names and roles of people your website names as owner, director or manager.
- Facts your website states (what you sell, your history) and our own measurements of your home page: whether it works on a phone, its speed on Google PageSpeed, whether it uses HTTPS and links to a catalogue or shop.
- Whether the business is a company (from Companies House), and the messages we have exchanged.
We do not buy lists, guess personal addresses or use data from customers of the galleries that use our platform.
Why, and on what basis
To offer our services to businesses they are relevant to. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR art. 6(1)(f)): promoting our services to businesses in our market, using business details they have chosen to publish, with a free and specific offer and an easy way to stop. We e-mail companies and LLPs; we do not send marketing e-mail to sole traders or partnerships without their consent.
Our software scores websites and businesses to decide whom to write to first. It does not make decisions about you with legal or similar effect, and a person reads and approves every first message.
Who processes it for us
Our hosting (Vercel), our database, e-mail sending and AI research (Cloudflare) and Google PageSpeed, which receives your website's address only. We are based in the United States and so are some of these providers: your business details are processed there, protected as UK data-protection law requires of us.
How long we keep it
We delete a prospect's record twelve months after our last contact if nothing has come of it. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your e-mail address or domain on a suppression list, so that we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can object at any time and we will stop: use the “Don't contact me again” link in any e-mail, or reply. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, for corrections or for deletion, by writing to info@vincigalleries.com. If your business is in the UK, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), the regulator for the e-mail you received.
